Dolphins

Took my water housing with a 3 foot pole attachment and hung off the bow of my pops boat and tried to get some photos of the dolphins that joined us. Almost fell over board a couple times and almost lost my entire camera rig...Couple abstracts came out rad, next time I know exactly what to do now!

Picked up a Yashica T-AF; I haven't been able to keep my finger off the trigger. This is what I love about photography, a shitty Yashica with a decent lens and good vibes brings that magic right back. You never know exactly what you're going to get out of a roll. Forces you to compose a shot rather than firing off 15+ shots of the same scene and spending 20 minutes figuring out the minute intricacies of a subject. It's refreshing, and it's got me fired up. Here's a handful of images over the past couple months.

   Was out at Pappy and Harriets in Pioneertown for my buddy Brindles Bday, had a good night out there. Decided to head to Joshua Tree for a night since we were so close and I had never been before. One night ran into two nights and I didn't want to really leave. The place is unreal, so expansive in every direction. I need to spend some more time out there. It was freezing, snowed the first night but with some layers and a camp fire everything is alright.
